Gear

Gear is one of the most important systems in the game. Picking the right pieces and upgrading them correctly makes a huge difference.

Overview

You have four gear types: swords (damage), boots (damage), helmets (HP), and chests (HP). There is also hero-exclusive gear (covered on the Exclusive Gear page).

Swords & Boots grant more damage (and a bit of HP). Helmets & Chests grant more HP (and a bit of damage). As a rule of thumb, level sword + boots first for damage dealers/healers.

For tanks, do the opposite: level helmet + chest first. Keep in mind that some skills scale with Attack and others with HP, so match your upgrades to the hero’s kit.

Prefer Titan-marked gear (explained below) and level gear in 10-level steps because an extra buff unlocks at each step.

Level Steps & Buffs (10 / 20 / 30 / 40)

At Lv 20 and Lv 40 you get additional set buffs:

  • Sword / Boots → Critical Attack
  • Helmet / Chest → Block Chance

These are big spikes, so focus your leveling to hit those breakpoints. Start with the heroes in your main queue (especially your primary damage dealer), then swap pieces later if you get a better hero.

Enhancement Master Buff

Enhancement Master example

If all 4 pieces on a hero are the same level, you gain the Enhancement Master buff (extra Attack + HP). Only the lowest-level piece counts toward this buff.

Reminder: this buff counts only once per hero, not per piece.

Titan Marks add faction-specific bonuses to gear (more stats if, for example, League-marked gear is equipped on a League hero).

How to get them: Star Shop (spenders), special packs, and the Guild Vault — buy all vault keys from the Guild Points shop each week.

Assigning the mark: after you obtain a mark, you can assign it to a weapon and faction. Go to the Blacksmith → last page → Mark button.

Titan Marks are one of the key reasons to focus on a single faction early. With marks on the right pieces, your main queue becomes significantly stronger.

Enhance Runes & Blacksmith

To level gear you’ll need a lot of Enhance Runes. Always upgrade your Rune Mine as much as possible. Assign villagers that boost rune yield — this is important for long-term growth (see the Villagers page for details).

Leveling your Blacksmith grants permanent Attack and HP buffs to your account. We recommend keeping this building upgraded as well. Reminder: this buff counts only once and not for every gear piece.

Star Promotion (unlocked at Lv 40)

Mythic Promotion Stone

When any gear piece reaches Lv 40, the star promotion page unlocks (up to 5★). Costs per star:

  • 1★ → 5 Legendary Promotion Stones
  • 2★ → 10 Legendary Promotion Stones
  • 3★ → 15 Legendary Promotion Stones
  • 4★ → 20 Legendary Promotion Stones
  • 5★ → 10 Mythic Promotion Stones

During the process, all buffs and attributes increase. Focus order does not change: sword & boots for damage dealers/healers; helmet & chest for tanks.

Reminder: besides the Promotion Stones above, every upgrade step also consumes a substantial amount of Enhance Runes and Gold Bricks.
