Event Overview
Spring of the Steed is a limited-time event lasting 7 days. It features some of the best purchasable rewards currently available in the game. The event revolves around two main currencies: Spring-time Coins and Spring-time Vouchers, each with its own dedicated shop.
Event Structure
The event is composed of multiple interconnected activities. The core gameplay revolves around the New Year Pinball, flower gifting, and spending currencies efficiently across the two event shops.
New Year Pinball Mechanics
The New Year Pinball uses Golden Lion Marbles. Players can choose between Launch One Time and Launch Ten Times. Launching once triggers an immediate reward refresh, while launching ten times locks all ten marbles onto the current reward layout before refreshing. The optimal strategy is to use single launches when rewards are poor and save ten launches for layouts rich in Spring-time Coins.
Crimson Dragon Marble
Crimson Dragon Marbles are premium pinball marbles obtainable through rewards. They follow the same mechanics as Golden Lion Marbles but provide access to superior rewards. The same launch strategy applies.
Flower Gifting and Charm Points
Players can collect and gift Flowers to other players, earning Charm Points. These unlock rewards such as Spring-time Lucky Bags, Golden Lion Marbles, and leaderboard rewards. Coordinating flower exchanges in pairs allows players to easily reach 300 flowers and claim all Charm Point rewards.
Spending Strategy by Player Type
Players should define their spending category early: Free-to-Play, Low Spender, Mid Spender, or High Spender. Each category has different optimal purchasing priorities.
Low Spender / Free-to-Play Priorities
In the Springtime Coin Store, low spenders should focus on Mega Deal Items, especially Legendary Promotion Stones. In the Springtime Voucher Store, the primary goal is obtaining decorations, aiming for 1200 vouchers to purchase The Day of Love Chest for a full decoration set.
Mid Spender Priorities
The Cloud Castle is the top priority due to its Hero Level Cap +10 bonus.
League players may also consider Divine Steed Castle.
Fantasy Castle is a solid secondary option.
Additional priorities include 10 Mythic Promotion Stones or decorations if enough points remain. Voucher priorities include acquiring all decorations and The Day of Love Chest.
High Spender Priorities
High spenders follow mid spender priorities first. Additional must-buys include Castle Relocation Effect, Earth Fluttering Castle Effect due to his skill effect, Universal Mythic Decorations, and extra Mythic Promotion Stones.
In the Voucher Store, priorities are Fantasy Cottage, Golden Lion Marbles, all decorations, and Universal Epic Decorations.
Real Money Purchases
Mid and High Spenders should purchase both Spring of the Steed Passes and the Spring-time Rewards daily pack. Low spenders should prioritize the pass over marble packs. Daily $0.99 marble packs offer the best value for mid spenders, while high spenders may scale further.
Spring-time Gift Milestone
High spenders should aim for 10,000 Springtime Gift points to unlock the Castle Shield Skin Choice Chest, which also provides valuable Castle Blueprints.
